Knowledge, Education, Experience, and Proficiencies
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree
Required Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of research administration experience and five (5) years of leadership and management experience
Knowledge of:
- Federal regulations and policies related to grants and contracts;
- Trends, issues, and best practices relevant to the position;
Skills:
- Strong research administration skills;
- Ability to work and manage her/his workload independently;
- Excellent verbal, written communication, organizational and time management skills;
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills;
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Knowledge of agency policies related to grants supported by federal agencies, including NIH, NSF, NASA, DOEd and DOD.
