Director of Supply Chain & Global Trade

About the Role:

Doha is a fast-growing global hub for international trade, logistics, and supply chain operations, and at MIDA Livorno Trading & Logistics W.L.L., we bring that same ambition into everything we do. We operate across international markets with a focus on efficient, scalable, and compliant global trade solutions between Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

We are looking for a Director of Supply Chain & Global Trade (MENA) who can take full ownership of our regional supply chain strategy. This is not just an operational role—you will define how goods, partners, and processes move across our global network.

You will lead supply chain transformation, oversee international logistics operations, and act as the key decision-maker for trade efficiency, vendor strategy, and cross-border execution. You will work closely with executive leadership, ensuring that strategy is translated into measurable operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Leadership:
Lead end-to-end supply chain operations across international markets, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

Global Trade Management:
Oversee import/export operations, freight coordination, customs compliance, and international trade documentation.

Strategic Procurement:
Develop sourcing strategies and manage relationships with global suppliers and logistics partners.

Operational Optimization:
Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements across logistics, inventory flow, and distribution systems.

Cross-Border Coordination:
Manage trade operations across GCC, European, and Asian markets with a focus on cost efficiency and compliance.

Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor supply chain and logistics teams, ensuring high performance and operational discipline.

Risk & Compliance:
Ensure full adherence to international trade regulations, customs laws, and regional compliance requirements.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience:
10+ years in supply chain management, logistics, or international trade, including senior leadership experience.

Leadership Background:
Proven experience managing regional or multi-country supply chain operations.

Global Trade Expertise:
Strong understanding of import/export processes, customs regulations, and international freight systems.

Strategic Thinking:
Ability to design and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business growth.

Technical Skills:
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and supply chain analytics tools.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).

Mindset:
You are structured, decisive, and commercially aware. You understand when to optimize deeply and when to move quickly.
