Role Overview

The Director of Systems Sales is a senior individual contributor responsible for developing, managing, and closing complex, high-value AS/RS and automated warehouse system projects. This role requires a consultative, strategic sales approach and close collaboration with engineering, project management, and executive stakeholders. The successful candidate will act as a market developer and hunter, building long-term client relationships and expanding Stoecklin’s footprint across North America and Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle B2B sales of AS/RS and automated warehouse systems
  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with large, multi-site organizations
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers at target organizations
  • Develop market strategies to expand Stoecklin’s presence across the US and Canada
  • Leverage consultative selling techniques to define customer needs and propose tailored system solutions
  • Collaborate closely with internal engineering and project teams to develop technical concepts and system proposals
  • Lead commercial negotiations and contract discussions through deal closure
  • Identify and develop new sales channels, including integrators, representatives, and partners
  • Represent Stoecklin at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, providing market and competitor insights
  • Support internal teams during early project phases to ensure successful handover and customer satisfaction

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven success selling large-capital automation or material handling systems (typically $5M–$10M+ projects)
  • Strong experience within AS/RS, automated warehouse systems, intralogistics, or related capital equipment markets
  • Established network with enterprise-level customers and decision-makers; ability to open doors at senior levels
  • Strategic, solution-oriented sales mindset with a strong hunter mentality
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with international sales and engineering teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

What We Offer

  • A senior, high-impact sales role with ownership of complex and highly visible projects
  • Employment with a globally operating, financially stable, innovation-driven family company
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package aligned with senior sales responsibility
  • Ongoing training and development within an international organization
  • A respectful, collaborative work environment where initiative and expertise are valued
