The Role

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Talent Acquisition to shape how we attract and acquire top talent across our growing organization. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, develop our employer brand, and build scalable systems that ensure we hire the right people at the right time. You will partner closely with senior leadership, hiring managers across all departments, and your talent acquisition team to deliver an exceptional candidate experience while driving data-informed improvements to our recruiting strategy.

What you will accomplish

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that aligns with organizational goals and supports our growth trajectory.
  • Own the end-to-end recruitment process from job requisition to onboarding, ensuring compliance and efficiency at every stage.
  • Build and promote our employer brand through collaboration with Marketing and Communications, creating compelling recruitment materials and consistent messaging.
  • Implement and optimize applicant tracking systems and recruitment technologies to improve process efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies and build talent pipelines across multiple channels including job boards, social media, professional networks, and industry partnerships.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs, create effective job descriptions and selection criteria, and provide training on interview techniques and candidate assessment.
  • Establish recruitment metrics, analyze data to identify trends, and deliver regular reports with actionable recommendations to senior management.
  • Represent the organization at industry events and job fairs while building relationships with external partners, recruitment agencies, and universities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of talent acquisition professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

What we would like you to have

  • Proven expertise in developing and executing talent acquisition strategies with in-depth knowledge of sourcing methods, candidate assessment, and recruitment technologies.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing talent acquisition teams with a track record of coaching, mentoring, and driving results.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements with the ability to ensure adherence throughout the recruitment process.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing recruitment metrics and translating insights into strategic recommendations and process improvements.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, Outlook, and Excel; familiarity with construction software such as Procore or Sage is a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and build strong relationships across the organization.
