Position Summary
The Director of Warehouse Optimization plays a key role in advancing operational excellence across Quirch Foods by championing continuous improvement, performance optimization, and Lean methodologies. This leader partners closely with distribution centers and cross-functional teams to design, implement, and sustain scalable solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.
This role goes beyond process improvement—focusing on building organizational capability, leveraging data and innovation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement that empowers teams to deliver world-class operational performance.
Key Responsibilities

Champion Continuous Improvement: Lead the evolution and execution of Lean, performance standards, and continuous improvement initiatives that drive measurable and sustainable results.

Drive Operational Impact: Identify and prioritize opportunities to reduce waste, optimize workflows, and enhance efficiency across the end-to-end operations value chain.

Enable Scalable Execution: Develop and implement structured project management frameworks to support and track operational improvement initiatives.

Lead Problem Solving: Facilitate root cause analysis and structured problem-solving efforts, empowering teams at all levels to address challenges effectively.

Optimize Warehouse Design: Lead slotting optimization strategies for both new and existing facilities to maximize space utilization and productivity.

Drive Innovation: Serve as a role model for continuous improvement by leveraging innovation, including emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field—or equivalent combination of education and 10+ years of relevant experience.
