(Director of Web Design) | Vibe Code Prompt Engineer - UI/UX Front end + Figma Design Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and innovative UX/UI Specialist to join our dynamic team as part of a 30-day pilot program to test and evaluate your skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing user experience and driving web sales strategy through effective design, development, and team leadership. You will combine creativity and technical expertise to architect and deliver visually appealing, user-friendly interfaces for our web applications, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop intuitive user interfaces for web applications, ensuring seamless user experience and optimized sales conversion.
• Lead and mentor design and development teams; organize workflows and develop SOPs and training materials.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using Figma; efficiently hand off designs to developers for feasible delivery.
• Architect UI/UX for custom projects: WordPress (90% of builds), Shopify, Builder.io, Webflow, headless setups, React Native, and more.
• Collaborate with developers to implement responsive designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (Angular, React, Vue.js) as needed.
• Conduct user research and usability testing for continuous improvement.
• Develop data visualization tools and design concepts that clearly present complex information.
• Use Agile methodologies and tools (Trello, Jira, ClickUp) for project management.
• Ensure web designs are optimized for SEO and e-commerce functionalities.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends in UX/UI, web development, and emerging technologies.

Required Skills and Experience

• Advanced proficiency with Large Language Models (LLMs) and vibe coding software.
• Strong hands-on design skills with Figma; experience translating designs for developer implementation.
• Proficiency with front-end and back-end technologies:
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, React, Vue.js
• Node.js, Django, Ruby on Rails, ASP.NET
• Familiarity with major database management systems: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, SQLite.
• Experience with containerization tools (Docker), configuration management (Ansible), system architecture, and CI/CD practices (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Version control (Git, SVN); RESTful APIs, GraphQL, SOAP services.
• Wireframing, prototyping, and advanced data visualization techniques.
• Expertise in WordPress, Shopify, Builder.io, Webflow, and UI/UX for headless and React Native builds.
• Experience building and leading teams, developing SOPs, and training materials.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $1,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
