The Department of Energy (DOE) is seeking an experienced, innovative Executive to lead the Office of Administration, which is part of the Office of Management (MA). MA is the best-in-class operational engine driving DOE to deliver on our mission with speed, precision, and accountability. The Director is responsible for the development and direction of programs to provide administrative services and facilities to support DOE HDQTS and for select Department-wide responsibilities.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS (TQs): Your resume should demonstrate accomplishments that would satisfy the technical qualifications.
TQ 1: Demonstrated ability to provide executive-level facilities management experience, including building operations, systems management, and infrastructure. Proven ability to manage architectural and engineering contractors through design and construction phases. Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
TQ 2: Strategic ability to provide executive leadership capability to direct personnel and programs, resolve complex interrelated challenges, communicate effectively across organization levels, delegate authority strategically, develop staff capacity, and integrate program operations with enterprise-wide management goals.
EXECUTIVE CORE QUALIFICATIONS (ECQs): In addition to the Technical Qualification Requirements listed above, all new entrants into the Senior Executive Service (SES) under a career appointment will be assessed for executive competency against the following five mandatory ECQs.
