Director – Oil and Gas
Responsible for providing strategic leadership across oil and gas operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable performance. The role oversees operational planning, budget management, regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and cross-functional coordination to support business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall oil and gas strategy, operations, and performance.
• Oversee production, operations, project delivery, and/or asset performance.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, local regulations, and industry standards.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, KPIs, and cost control.
• Drive process improvement, efficiency, and profitability.
• Build and develop high-performing teams.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, regulators, clients, and partners.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Support long-term business planning and expansion initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, petroleum, business, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in oil and gas, with senior leadership exposure.
• Strong knowledge of upstream, downstream, or midstream operations.
• Proven track record in operational leadership, strategy, and stakeholder management.
• Strong understanding of HSE, compliance, and risk management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: BD46.000 - BD87.000 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
