Job Description
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a strategic and operationally minded Director, People Operations to lead and scale our global people operations shared services. This role will oversee the design, optimization, and execution of people processes across multiple countries, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and a world-class employee experience. You will partner closely with People Business Partners, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal and IT to enable a seamless lifecycle for all FlyMates, from onboarding through offboarding.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy

Lead and develop the Global People Operations team, providing mentorship and operational direction.

Define and execute the long-term strategy for global HR service delivery, ensuring scalability and alignment with company growth.

Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on HR operations, compliance, and employee experience.
Process Excellence
-
Own and continuously improve end-to-end employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, mobility, employee data management, compliance reporting).

Ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency across HR systems and workflows globally.

Drive process automation and self-service initiatives to improve scalability and employee experience.
Systems & Data

Oversee the administration, implementation & optimization of our Workday HCM system.

Partner with IT to ensure seamless integrations between HR, payroll, and business systems.

Establish strong HR analytics and reporting capabilities to enable data-driven decision-making while leveraging AI where possible.
Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure global compliance with employment laws, data privacy regulations, and company policies.

Partner with Legal and regional HR leaders to manage audits, filings, and risk mitigation.

Oversee accurate employee records, documentation, and data governance standards.
Employee Experience

Champion a people-first, globally inclusive approach to HR operations.

Ensure policies, processes, and communications are clear, consistent, and equitable.

Drive continuous feedback loops with employees and managers to refine operational practices.
Qualifications
Here’s What We’re Looking For:
-
10+ years of progressive HR/People Operations experience, including 5+ years leading teams in a global environment.

Strong expertise in HR systems (Workday strongly preferred), process optimization, and compliance frameworks.

Proven success building scalable processes across multiple geographies.

Deep knowledge of Global employment law practices strongly preferred.

Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and change management skills.

Analytical mindset with experience building dashboards and reporting capabilities.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, global company.
Preferred Experience

Experience in a public technology company.

Demonstrated success in leading HR digital transformation initiatives.
