Job Description:

Analyzes performance data by region, medical group, specialty, practice, and provider to support objectives. Develops and implements customized improvement plans for individual practices. Ensures quarterly communication with all practices. Evaluates performance data to prioritize practice and provider interventions. Coordinates high-impact teams to execute interventions. Partners with medical group leaders to optimize EHR and related technologies. Leads assessments of current processes to identify improvement opportunities. Collaborates with business leaders to prioritize optimization projects. Develops proficiency in Lean/Six Sigma methodology within the team. Manages planning, budgeting, and operations for the team. Establishes and oversees a performance measurement and improvement program. Implements systematic approaches to enhance work processes, standards, and productivity. Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Microsoft Office suite experience with advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Familiarity with physician practice transformation in the multi-specialty setting, supported by project management and
  • quality improvement principles
  • Knowledge of quality reporting and physician practice regulatory programs (e.g., PQRS, MACRA)
  • Knowledge in Healthcare Operations, Information Technology, Revenue Cycle, Practice Operations, Clinical
  • Operations, Nursing Work Flow, Physician Work Flow, Medical Information
  • Proficiency in identifying, defining, analyzing, and displaying metrics and goals
  • Expertise in process improvement methodologies
  • Expertise in process mapping and process mapping tools
  • Project management experience [Required]
  • Knowledge of/experience with athenaCollector and athenaClinical
  • Knowledge of adult learning styles and training strategy, development, and delivery in support of physician
  • practice operations including adoption of practice management/EHR systems
  • Knowledge of quality reporting and physician practice regulatory programs (e.g., PQRS, MACRA)
  • Familiarity with formal change management models (e.g., GE CAP, Destra ACT) [Preferred]

Education:
  • Bachelor's [Required]

Field of Study:
  • BS in a related field (e.g., Business, Industrial Engineering, Health Administration, Computer Science)
  • Advanced degree (Masters or Doctorate in Informatics, Healthcare Informatics, Business or Nursing)

Work Experience:
  • 3+ years of performance improvement experience [Required]
  • 5+ ears of physician practice operations experience [Required]
  • 5+ years leadership experience [Required]
  • 5+ years of experience in a healthcare environment [Required]
  • 5+ years of project/program/department management experience in a related field (e.g. industrial engineering, health administration, computer science) [Required]
  • 5+ years people management experience [Required]
  • Member of professional organization(s) related to job responsibilities (i.e. IHI, ASQ, SHS) [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$84,753.90 - $157,642.25
