Director Sourcing Management

🌟 Position Overview:

Haavia is seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Sourcing Management to lead global sourcing initiatives across direct and indirect procurement. This role is pivotal in shaping our cost roadmap, supplier relationships, and operational efficiency in semiconductor packaging and tooling.

• Sourcing experience within the semiconductor sector a must have .

💼 Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for OSAT , assembly, lead frame, mold compound, and tooling vendors
• Negotiate pricing and contracts to meet or exceed cost roadmap targets
• Collaborate with our engineers and suppliers to drive cost reduction through value engineering
• Own and maintain a comprehensive cost roadmap database covering fab, test, logistics, and warehousing
• Support financial modeling for new product development and NPI supplier evaluation
• Manage RFQs, design rule confirmations, and supplier onboarding for NPI
• Lead quarterly business reviews with fabs and assembly suppliers
• Oversee all administrative aspects of the sourcing function

🎯 What You Bring:

• Extensive experience in semiconductor package design and assembly
• Proven success in sourcing and procurement leadership roles
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, especially at the executive level
• Experience conducting business across Asia
• High analytical capability and business acumen
• Ability to manage complex supplier relationships and drive strategic outcomes

🎓 Preferred Qualifications:

• BS or MS in Materials Science, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
• MBA, CPSM, or other procurement certifications are a huge plus

The company is committed to building teams that drive innovation and therefore review a range of factors when determining compensation. The annual base pay range for this position is $183,365 - $263,639. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, qualifications and work location.

The range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position in California. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
