Director, Supplier Services - Communications

Summary:

The Director, Supplier Services is responsible for overseeing the Supplier Management functions for assigned team(s). The candidate should have the ability to mentor others, understand the impact of related transactions on Sales, Supply Chain, Solutions Center and Marketing; leverage internal resources to build product strategies for assigned Suppliers to drive overall revenue and profitable contribution.


Essential Job Duties:

  • Personnel Management:
    • Manage remote employees
    • Assign team KPIs to meet overall department objectives
    • Provide mentoring and motivation to team members, which include assisting in the preparation of goals and periodic review of results.
  • Management of assigned SWAT to ensure the processes and trainings are current and they meet efficiency goals
  • Business Planning:
    • Drive collaboration with internal departments to ensure alignment of priorities with Supply Chain management, Sales, Solution Center and Marketing
    • Understand assigned suppliers GTM strategy and create a business plan for each Supplier to drive profitable revenue growth
    • Maintain a high profile with supplier executives and key supplier partners
    • Work with Sales and Supply Chain Management to manage supplier programs and pipeline forecast
  • Business Efficiencies:
    • Execute to department projects and investments
    • Headcount allocation
  • Represent ScSc at important supplier and industry events
  • Understand and maintain controls related to the above mentioned functions.
  • Perform special projects as necessary.
  • Regular attendance is an essential function of the Director Supplier Services position

Reporting Relationships:

  • Group Vice President

Requirements:

  • 10+ years industry experience
  • Previous leadership and management experience
  • Success managing lines by revenue/profitability/growth metrics
  • High performer or equivalent experience

Preferred:

  • Multi-supplier experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for long periods of time.
  • Ability to be physically in attendance at workstation at designated company office location during normal business hours designated for this position.
  • Ability to travel 40% of the time
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds.

Compensation:

Base Range : $91,300 - $103,750 and total compensation range: $110,000 - $125,000

Actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on a number of variables including work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.

For non-sales roles and sales roles with a variable component, total compensation reflects both a base salary and variable targets.
