Director Systems Security

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Director of Systems Security to lead our organization’s cybersecurity initiatives and safeguard our critical IT infrastructure. In this pivotal role, you will develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive security strategies aligned with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27000 series, and FISMA. Your expertise will ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our systems across diverse environments, including cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud, as well as on-premises data centers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape our security posture, lead cross-functional teams, and drive innovative solutions to complex cybersecurity challenges.

Required Skills and Certifications:

• One or more years' experience supervising and/or leading others.
• Demonstrated experience in crafting security policies, procedures and standards.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune/Defender/Azure a plus.
• Demonstrated involvement with the security community and possession of security certifications a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging based on audience.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
