Director / VP of Marketing (Growth & Demand Generation)

Why this role matters

Syllable.ai is a self-service, agentic-AI platform used by enterprises to deploy and scale intelligent agents. We already have paying customers and strong product-led traction; now we need a hands-on marketing leader who can systematically turn awareness into trial sign-ups, paid subscriptions, and revenue growth.

What you’ll do

  • Own the full growth funnel – set goals, design experiments, and ship campaigns that increase qualified traffic, activate users, and drive MRR.
  • Demand generation & ABM – build, run, and optimize multi-touch programs in 6sense, Apollo, LinkedIn, Google/YouTube, and other paid channels.
  • SEO & SEM excellence – lead keyword strategy, technical SEO, on-page optimization, and high-impact link-building to win rankings in a crowded AI landscape.
  • Conversion-rate optimization – craft copy, landing pages, and onboarding flows; run A/B tests with tools like Webflow/CMS, Optimizely, or similar.
  • Content & PR – develop newsworthy releases, and partner with events/communities to position Syllable as the go-to agentic platform.
  • Analytics & Ops – optimize the stack (GA4, HubSpot/Marketo, Segment, FullEnrich, Looker) and surface insights that inform product and GTM decisions.
  • Team & vendor leadership – scale an agile mix of in-house talent (4 people) and agencies.

What you’ve done

  • 7-10+ years in B2B SaaS marketing with 3+ years owning growth for a PLG or API/AI company; early-stage experience is a must.
  • Proven track record turning 10M to $20 M+ ARR through data-driven programs and relentless experimentation.
  • Deep fluency with marketing technology, enrichment platforms, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and modern SEO/SEM practices.
  • Built or scaled high-performance websites and self-service funnels; comfortable briefing design/dev and editing copy yourself.
  • Exceptional storytelling and analytical skills; you can present a board-ready growth plan.
  • Familiarity with developer marketing, open-source community building, or usage-based pricing models.
  • Prior success launching at high-visibility events (e.g., AWS re:Invent, Web Summit) or securing Tier-1 tech press coverage.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
