We're currently hiring playful and energetic DIRFloortime Players to work one-on-one with autistic children. These sessions take place in the child’s home, using the DIRFloortime model to promote developmental progress through play.
We offer flexible, part-time scheduling — including evenings — with the option to build into a full-time caseload.
What You’ll Be Doing as a DIRFloortime Player:
- Provide one-on-one DIRFloortime sessions in the home environment
- Build meaningful connections by engaging in playful, developmental activities
- Work under the supervision of an AFT (Advanced Floortime Therapist) or QHP (Qualified Healthcare Provider)
- Record your sessions to support reflection and skill development
- Collect light session data
- Use positive, emotionally attuned strategies to support growth and change
What We’re Looking For:
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree
- Required: At least 1 year of relevant experience or education in a related field
- Valid ID and ability to pass federal and state background checks
- Reliable transportation
- Comfortable engaging in floor play
- A working device for session data entry and video recording
- Spanish bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
Relevant Experience Includes:
- Childcare (e.g., babysitting, daycare, preschool or assistant teaching)
- Special education or support roles in school settings
- Early or developmental intervention
- Autism-specific support roles (e.g., RBT, behavioral tech, ABA therapist, or previous DIRFloortime experience)
