Dirt Pit Operator – Urgently Hiring

We are seeking an experienced Dirt Pit Operator to join our team in Canton, MS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating Dozers and Excavators to efficiently manage dirt pit operations, including excavation, grading, and material movement. This role requires attention to safety, equipment maintenance, and effective coordination with team members.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Dozers and Excavators to excavate, move, and grade materials within the dirt pit.
• Ensure efficient and safe operation of heavy equipment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Load trucks with dirt, gravel, or other materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite, minimizing hazards.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, truck drivers, and other team members.
• Monitor material quality and report any inconsistencies or issues.

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating Dozers and Excavators in a dirt pit, construction, or mining setting.
• Knowledge of grading, excavation techniques, and material handling.
• Understanding of safety protocols and regulations for heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
