Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Curate and mix playlists that match the theme and mood of each event, ensuring seamless transitions between songs.

• Use professional DJ equipment to control sound levels, effects, and lighting to enhance the overall experience.
• Collaborate with event organizers or clients to understand their vision and tailor musical selections accordingly.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests promptly and maintaining a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Demonstrate dancing or movement skills on stage or dance floor to energize the crowd further.
• Handle physical setup and breakdown of equipment, which may involve heavy lifting of speakers, turntables, or other gear.

Experience

• Previous experience as a DJ at events such as parties, weddings, clubs, or community gatherings is preferred.
• Strong marketing skills to promote events or build a personal brand within the entertainment industry.
• Excellent communication skills for public speaking and engaging with diverse audiences confidently.
• Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism and responsiveness in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when transporting or setting up equipment.
• Knowledge of music genres across different eras and cultures to cater to varied audiences.
• Comfort with dancing or movement-based activities that enhance crowd interaction.
