Discovery PLAYce ManagerSalary: $59,000Location: Beloit, WIJob Type: Full-Time (exempt)Department: Beloit Public LibraryClosing: 4/19/2026Summary of JobBeloit Public Library is seeking a dynamic, creative, and community-centered leader to launch and lead Discovery PLAYce—an innovative early learning and family engagement destination designed to spark early brain development, support school readiness, and connect children and caregivers through the power of play. The role is full-time, exempt, and part of the Library’s Administration Department.This new role is an exciting opportunity to help shape one of Beloit Public Library’s most transformative initiatives. The Discovery PLAYce Manager will lead programming, support outreach and partnerships, help develop policies and procedures, and create welcoming, engaging experiences for children and families. The position also works closely with staff and community partners to ensure Discovery PLAYce reflects best practices in early learning, inclusivity, and interpretive play.The schedule for this position will include some evening, weekend, and holiday hours, along with occasional outdoor work, outreach activities, and library-wide leadership responsibilities.
