Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen tools to uphold health and safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic chopping or ingredient handling when needed
• Support catering and banquet events by managing large volumes of dishware and maintaining a tidy work area
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes during busy service periods
• Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure hygiene compliance
• Help with general cleaning duties around the kitchen including floors, counters, and storage areas

Skills

• Experience in food service or restaurant environments demonstrating familiarity with kitchen operations
• Knowledge of cleaning protocols and food safety standards related to dishwashing and sanitation
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Basic understanding of food handling, catering support, and banquet service preferred
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary staff
• Previous kitchen or hotel experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned and stored correctly
