Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. This position is essential for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, contributing to the overall success of our food service operations.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including prepping ingredients for cooking.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for service.
• Follow all food safety guidelines and maintain proper hygiene standards in the kitchen.
• Support other kitchen staff during peak hours by assisting with additional cleaning tasks as required.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and sanitation.
• Previous experience in hospitality or food service environments is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and safety practices is a plus.
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks within the culinary field, including food preparation and catering services.
