Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Assist with bussing tables and clearing plates in dining areas to support smooth service flow.
• Support food preparation tasks by handling basic cleaning duties and assisting with ingredient setup when needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely dishwashing during busy service periods and special events such as banquets or catering functions.
• Follow all food handling and safety procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Help with general cleaning duties around the kitchen and dining areas to uphold a hygienic environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with basic cleaning routines, food handling practices, and sanitation standards is advantageous.
• Experience working in banquet settings or catering events is a plus, demonstrating ability to handle high-volume environments.
• Knowledge of kitchen operations including bussing, food preparation, and serving enhances your effectiveness in this role.
• A background in hospitality or hotel services can provide valuable context for delivering excellent team support.
