Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients under supervision.
• Support catering and banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware and utensils are clean and ready for use.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping floors, cleaning work surfaces, and disposing of waste properly throughout your shift.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
• Familiarity with cleaning dishes, or assisting with food prep is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting heavy items occasionally.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary staff and guests.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation practices is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
