Position Summary

As a Dishwasher you are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for

dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, and kitchen equipment. This role also assists with

basic kitchen cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and organized work environment for kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand.

Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized.

Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing station and kitchen work areas.

Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.

Assist with cleaning floors, walls, and kitchen surfaces as needed.

Store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in designated areas.

Restock dishwashing and cleaning supplies when needed.

Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

Assist kitchen staff with basic prep or cleaning tasks when required.

Qualifications

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.

Work Environment

Work is performed in a busy kitchen environment with exposure to heat, water, cleaning chemicals,

and kitchen equipment.
