Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods.
• Organize clean items in designated storage areas to ensure easy access for kitchen staff.
• Monitor dishwashing stations to maintain proper operation and report any equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Assist with basic kitchen cleanup tasks, including sweeping and mopping floors to uphold health and safety standards.
• Follow all sanitation procedures and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a hygienic workspace.
• Support the kitchen team during busy periods by handling dishware quickly and accurately.
• Keep work areas tidy and stocked with necessary cleaning supplies to promote efficiency.

Experience

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced food service or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with energy and focus.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure all dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
• Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff.
