Position Summary

Fort Wayne Country Club is seeking a dependable and hard-working PM Dishwasher to support our culinary and stewarding team. This role is essential to maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of our kitchen operations while upholding the high standards expected at a premier private club.

Schedule Expectations

• Typical hours: 5:00 PM – close , Tuesday through Saturday
• Occasional Sunday shifts (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM) and periodic Monday availability as needed
• Nights, weekends, and holidays are mandatory based on Club operations

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish area, kitchen floors, and workspaces
• Assist with trash removal, recycling, and general kitchen upkeep
• Support kitchen team with basic tasks as needed
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and health regulations
• Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and positive, team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience preferred, but not required

Physical & Schedule Requirements

• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by Club operations
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time in a fast-paced environment
• Frequent bending, reaching, and working in hot and humid kitchen conditions
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work daily
