Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to meet health and safety standards

• Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow during busy service times
• Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards
• Help with general cleaning duties throughout the kitchen to promote a safe and sanitary environment

Skills

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Knowledge of basic food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting moderate loads, and bending frequently
• Strong attention to detail when cleaning and organizing kitchen areas
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in fast-paced settings
• Familiarity with catering or banquet operations is a plus
