Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using proper cleaning techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic chopping or ingredient setup when needed.
• Help with general kitchen cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, and maintaining a hygienic environment.
• Follow food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for service periods.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices is a plus.
• Experience working in banquet settings or catering events can be advantageous.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive cleaning tasks efficiently.
