Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen tools to meet health and safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, including sinks, counters, and storage areas
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients when needed
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting dining areas promptly during service
• Aid in catering and banquet setups by providing clean dishware and assisting with event-specific cleaning needs
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure all items are stored correctly and hygienically
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy meal periods

Skills

• Strong understanding of food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards
• Experience with food service environments, including restaurants, hotels, or catering settings
• Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks and assist with kitchen cleaning duties
• Familiarity with banquet or large-event cleaning processes is a plus
• Excellent teamwork skills to support culinary staff and maintain a positive work environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
• Prior hospitality or culinary experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
