Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
• Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to ensure a smooth flow of service.
• Support food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and handling ingredients with proper food handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations by sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
• Help with basic catering and banquet setups by organizing serving ware and ensuring timely delivery of items.
• Follow all safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation to promote a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely turnover of dishes during busy service periods.

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Experience in bussing or food preparation roles enhances your ability to excel in this position.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards is advantageous.
• Banquet or catering experience can be a plus for supporting event setups.
• A background in hospitality or hotel environments demonstrates adaptability within fast-paced settings.
• Familiarity with food handling safety practices ensures compliance with health regulations.
• No formal experience is necessary—training will be provided to help you succeed!
