Duties

• Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and organizing supplies to support kitchen operations.
• Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health and safety standards at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely clearing of plates and replenishment of clean dishes during service hours.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the dish area through regular cleaning routines and waste disposal.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, catering, or banquet settings is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with basic kitchen tasks including bussing tables, food preparation, or handling dishes is advantageous.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments that require multitasking and attention to detail is highly valued.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures is a plus.
