- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by regularly cleaning sinks, dish racks, and surrounding surfaces.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as bussing tables, organizing supplies, and handling food items in accordance with safety standards.
- Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely clearing of plates and replenishment of clean items during busy service hours.
- Adhere to safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and food handling safety standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
