Duties

• Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing ingredients and supporting cooking stations when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces.
• Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use.
• Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to facilitate smooth service flow.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes for service.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Familiarity with basic cleaning procedures and dishwashing equipment enhances your effectiveness.
• Experience in catering, banquets, or hotel kitchens can be advantageous for handling diverse service needs.
