Dishwasher

Job Overview
Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to support the food service operation. They help maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.

Duties

  • Ensure all kitchen items are cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
  • Keep dishwashing areas, sinks, and kitchen floors clean and organized.
  • Remove trash and recycling from kitchen areas.
  • Assist with receiving and storing kitchen supplies when needed.
  • Restock clean dishes and utensils to designated storage areas.
  • Follow hotel sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (typically up to 25–50 lbs / 11–23 kg).
  • Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork and reliability.
  • Previous kitchen or dishwasher experience is helpful but often not required.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
