Job Overview
Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to support the food service operation. They help maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
Duties
- Ensure all kitchen items are cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
- Keep dishwashing areas, sinks, and kitchen floors clean and organized.
- Remove trash and recycling from kitchen areas.
- Assist with receiving and storing kitchen supplies when needed.
- Restock clean dishes and utensils to designated storage areas.
- Follow hotel sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
- Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (typically up to 25–50 lbs / 11–23 kg).
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork and reliability.
- Previous kitchen or dishwasher experience is helpful but often not required.
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
