Dishwasher (Seasonal)

Wychmere Beach Club is seeking to hire seasonal Dishwashers. The Dishwasher position is responsible for proper care and maintenance of the dish machine as well as keeping a clean supply of dishware, glassware, silverware and adequate supply of utensils and cookware throughout each shift.

Seasonal Schedule: June through September, FT and PT positions available

Core Duties:

This is intended to represent the key duties for this position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Operate an industrial dishwasher, washing dishes and glassware by hand when necessary

· Unload dishes, silverware, and glassware promptly and store them in the appropriate places

· Carry out basic cleaning tasks around the kitchen, including emptying trash cans, cleaning larger equipment and mopping walk-ins

· Assisting in tasks to ensure stocked, sanitized and safe kitchens

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

· One year related experience in a high volume restaurant, resort, or private club environment preferred

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Highly responsible and reliable

· Ability to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends

· Ability to stand for the majority of an 8 hour shift

· Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. during a shift
