Dishwasher/Busser

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented dishwasher / busser to join our team! Our café specializes in Argentinian & European pastries and takes pride in serving top-quality coffee made with locally roasted beans.

Position available after December 1st.

As a dishwasher / busser, you will be responsible for:

- Maintain a clean and organized aspect of the dining room by bussing and cleaning tables, maintain a clean floor, regularly clean the trash bins and refill the dining floor's side stations.

- Providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers

- Keeping the workspace clean and organized, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas to ensure smooth daily operations.

- Keeping the china, silverware and glassware clean and restocked, including coffee mugs, pastry boards and any kitchen utensils.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters and storage racks - rewash if necessary.

Also, you will be expected to:

• Sweep and mop floors in the dining and kitchen areas as needed.
• Help maintain cleanliness in restrooms and common areas when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience.
• Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in similar positions is optional but a great plus.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 19 – 24 per week
