Whats up people, I am deleting the AI summary and just want to be straight forward with what I am looking for. We are looking for people with service industry experience at a restaurant but more importantly just individuals with a good vibe. This will be our second location with our first being in San Clemente. Please let me know if you have been into our location in SC, that way I can understand that you get the vibe we are looking for with seeing first hand the type of people I have already hired.

It's pretty straight forward stuff that comes with bussing and dishwashing work, be upbeat, have a personality that locals and tourists can relate to and speak with, understand how to make customers feel comfortable and work well with our team members to ensure that the restaurant looks nice at all times. Be clean oriented to keep the place looking nice and presentable, do not be flake and communicate with me at all stages to make both of our lives easier, on-top of your co-workers. Make sure that trash is picked up, trash cans are emptied, tables are cleaned, ensure that everything is washed thoughourly within a timely manner as to not upset the rhythm of your co-workers and be an upbeat person.

There is potential of working at both locations through the summer to obtain more hours.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all kitchen surfaces are sanitized.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and preparation duties.
• Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to ensure a clean environment for guests.
• Support kitchen staff during peak hours by providing clean dishes and utensils promptly.
• Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
• Participate in regular cleaning schedules for kitchen equipment and storage areas.

Skills

• Experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with restaurant environments is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of culinary practices would be awesome for assisting kitchen staff.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on hygiene and sanitation protocols.
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed within the kitchen setting.
