Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards.
• Support food preparation activities by assisting with basic cooking tasks and ingredient handling under supervision.
• Serve food at the cafeteria line with enthusiasm, ensuring portion control and presentation meet quality standards.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service flow during busy meal times.

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of food handling, cleaning procedures, and kitchen safety practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting trays or cleaning supplies.
• Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization standards.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues and guests.
• Familiarity with bussing, food preparation, serving, or catering is a plus.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary operations and hospitality services.
