Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to ensure cleanliness and availability for food preparation and service
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning items under supervision
• Support catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring timely delivery of prepared food items
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
• Help with bussing tables and clearing dishes during service hours to support smooth restaurant operations
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization

Skills

• Experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments preferred
• Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices
• Familiarity with cleaning procedures for commercial kitchens or hotel settings
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary staff
• Basic understanding of food handling regulations and sanitation standards
• Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus but not required
