Duties

• Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Assist in food preparation by chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and organizing supplies to support kitchen operations.
• Ensure all work areas are sanitized regularly, following health and safety regulations to prevent contamination.
• Manage dishwashing stations efficiently during peak hours to keep pace with service demands.
• Restock supplies such as utensils, napkins, and cleaning products to ensure smooth kitchen workflow.
• Dispose of waste properly and maintain recycling procedures to promote an eco-friendly environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to uphold cleanliness standards and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.

Experience

• Prior experience in a fast-paced food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy trays or containers safely.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and health regulations related to food handling is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy setting. Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
