Dishwasher/Food Prep

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Food Prep team member to join our dynamic culinary environment. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen while supporting food preparation and service operations. Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, food handling, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Previous experience in restaurant, catering, or hotel kitchens is a plus but not required; training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in the food service industry.

Duties

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and readiness for use
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning items according to recipes or event needs
• Support food service operations by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining a tidy dining area
• Help with catering setups and banquet service as needed, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of food items
• Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain safety standards and prevent cross-contamination
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal
• Assist with basic cooking tasks under supervision to support the culinary team during busy periods

Experience

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques such as basic cooking and plating is advantageous
• Experience with banquet or hotel kitchen operations can be beneficial
• Knowledge of cleaning protocols and food safety standards is desirable
• Candidates should demonstrate strong teamwork skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude toward learning new skills in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
