We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced culinary environment. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling ingredients.
- Support catering events by preparing banquet-style meals as needed.
- Buss tables and assist with dining room setup to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within the hospitality industry.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
