Dishwasher/Prep Cook

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of our kitchen and ensuring that our guests receive high-quality meals in a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
• Ensure all food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and hygiene standards.
• Help with food service during banquets or special events as needed.
• Buss tables and assist with cleaning dining areas to ensure a pleasant experience for guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food presentation.

Skills

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of culinary techniques and food handling practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to cooking and food service.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
