Job Summary
We are seeking a fast paced, high energy Dishwasher/Prep Cook/Porter to join our culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of our kitchen and ensuring that our guests receive high-quality meals in a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess experience in food preparation and cleaning.
Duties
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Perform bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas are tidy for guests.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Assist in inventory management by reporting shortages or needed supplies to management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen preferred; culinary experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards is essential.
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining kitchen hygiene.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving others in the hospitality industry.
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
