Dishwasher/Steward

Two Fathoms, LLC is looking for Dishwashers/Stewards to join the team for our new restaurant expansion, The Old Tiger! This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in an energetic environment and uphold the highest standards of hospitality and food service.

This vital back of house role is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment—ensuring the tools and equipment our team uses are consistently clean, sanitized, and ready to support service.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines, ensuring proper food handling practices.
• Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in accordance with company policy and state/federal health codes
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation throughout your shift
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize stainless bowls, utensils, and kitchen tools throughout service
• Replenish clean items to the front of house and kitchen line during the lunch rush
• Assist with breakdown, deep cleaning, and closing duties as assigned by management
• Monitor and refill cleaning chemicals, sanitizers, and supplies as needed
• Help with light stocking or receiving deliveries if required
• Support other team members and tasks when the dish area is caught up
• Properly store all equipment and tools at the end of shift
• Alert managers to any maintenance or safety concerns with equipment

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

• Reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures consistently
• Physically able to meet demands of the role: standing for long periods, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs
• Ability to stay calm, efficient, and organized in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment

Compensation & Benefits:

• $16-$20/hour depending on experience
