Duties

• Maintain cleanliness of all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment through proper washing and sanitizing procedures
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, or portioning items under supervision
• Support food service staff by bussing tables, clearing plates, and resetting dining areas promptly
• Help with catering and banquet setups, ensuring all serving stations are organized and stocked
• Follow food handling safety guidelines to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times
• Perform general cleaning duties in the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, and maintaining sanitation stations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy service periods

Skills

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred; familiarity with food service operations is a plus
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
• Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks and assist with catering or banquet setups
• Strong organizational skills with attention to cleanliness and detail
