WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
DCC is currently seeking a full-time, experienced Shift Maintenance Manager for the Disney Skyliner Gondola Transportation system in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
The Shift Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance to all Disney Skyliner System components. He/She also assists in troubleshooting and resolving operational disturbances. The Shift Maintenance Manager reports to the Maintenance Manager assigned to oversee their respective shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads by example. Provides training and coaching as may be appropriate.
- Provides clear and timely communication. Ensures that questions are answered and suggestions are addressed and advanced to Senior Leadership.
- Performs preventive and corrective maintenance only for purposes of training or when emergency scenarios require it.
- Supervises, oversees, and manages on-site staff on all aspects of operation on assigned shifts.
- Maintains awareness of staff location during assigned work shift.
- Manages and implements the training plan for staff. Schedules and ensures timely completion of assigned training.
- Coordinates with Senior Leadership to ensure proper staffing levels for each shift.
Planning and Project Management
- Plans and oversees all aspects of the day-to-day operations and maintenance on assigned shift and resolves operational disturbances, provides troubleshooting, and leads emergency operation procedures.
- Responsible for the implementation, maintenance, oversight, evaluation and enforcement of Company policies and procedures. Makes independent recommendations for modifications based on changes in business requirements.
- Schedules, coordinates, and assigns preventive and corrective maintenance of the DSO System with internal and external resources as required.
- Forecasts and ensures the timely ordering and delivery of parts and equipment based on operational requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preferred four (4) years of supervisory experience with an emphasis in maintenance.
- Experience and working knowledge on the principles of planning and coordinating work with staff.
- Experience and working knowledge of the principles on supervision, training, evaluation and motivation of assigned staff.
- Preferred four (4) years of experience with applicable mechanical or electrical work. This includes ropeway maintenance, transit system maintenance work, industrial mechanical work, industrial automation, electrical installation, or maintenance work or similar.
- Certification in the Electrical Trade, Millwright Trade or Aircraft Maintenance Trade or similar a plus.
- Experience and knowledge in the principles to identify opportunities to improve maintenance methods and procedures, and to forecast resources and needs.
- Experience with and working knowledge of the principles and practices of mechanical / electrical engineering design.
- Experience with and working knowledge of the principles and practices of mechanical / electrical equipment and materials.
- Experience with and working knowledge of using and following O&M Manuals, including reading and understanding of engineering drawings.
- Experience with and working knowledge of methods and techniques of field measuring and testing.
