Dispatch and Route Optimization Specialist (Pest Control / Home Services)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Routing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating daily routes, managing schedules, and serving as a key point of communication between technicians and customers. This role requires strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Duties

• Plan, organize, and optimize daily service routes for technicians
• Read and interpret maps to ensure efficient routing and time management
• Coordinate schedules and adjust routes as needed throughout the day
• Answer incoming calls and provide professional customer support
• Communicate effectively with technicians to relay updates and job details
• Serve as a liaison between customers and field staff
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain accurate records of schedules, routes, and customer interactions

Experience

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to read and understand maps and routing systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable answering phones and interacting with customers
• Positive attitude and strong problem-solving abilities
• Previous experience in dispatching, routing, or scheduling is desired

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Experience:

• Using mapping tools, GPS, and routing software.: 1 year (Preferred)
• Building and adjusting technician schedules in real time.: 1 year (Preferred)
• Maintaining accurate records of routes.: 1 year (Preferred)
• Working effectively in a fast-paced, team-based operation.: 1 year (Preferred)
• Designing & optimizing daily routes for multiple field techs: 1 year (Preferred)
