Position Overview

As a Dispatcher Coordinator, you will manage daily operations by assigning loads, monitoring our fleet, and ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires strong communication skills, quick problem-solving, and the ability to keep everything running smoothly throughout the day. This position plays an active role in fostering collaboration across dispatch, operations, and other supporting departments.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

• Assign loads and routes to drivers based on availability and customer requirements.
• Monitor truck locations and progress throughout the day using GPS and dispatch software.
• Communicate with drivers to provide updates, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to maintain delivery schedules.
• Respond promptly to unexpected delays, breakdowns, or route changes.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and driver logs.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with GPS tracking and dispatch software is a plus.
• Knowledge of DOT/ FMCSA regulations and trucking industry standards.

Education / Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year experience in dispatching or transportation logistics required.
• Associates degree preferred.
