Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of fleet logistics to ensure the timely, safe, and efficient delivery of goods and services.
Core Responsibilities
- Scheduling and Dispatching: Plan and manage daily vehicle schedules, routes, and driver assignments to ensure efficient and timely service.
- Communication: Serve as the main point of contact between drivers, customers, and internal departments; relay instructions and address inquiries or issues promptly.
- Tracking and Monitoring: Continuously track vehicle locations and delivery statuses to ensure adherence to schedules and respond to any delays or deviations.
- Operational Efficiency and Compliance: Ensure all fleet activities align with company standards and comply with relevant regulations, including safety procedures and driving hour limits.
- Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate operational records, complete all required documentation, and update dispatch systems regularly.
