Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating Dispatches:
- Receiving and verifying customer orders and requests.
- Planning and scheduling deliveries or pickups.
- Assigning tasks to drivers or delivery personnel.
- Monitoring the status of deliveries and addressing any issues that arise.
- Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Preparing shipping documents, such as invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
- Maintaining accurate records of dispatch activities, including schedules, routes, and driver performance.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.
- Communication and Customer Service:
- Communicating with customers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and any issues.
- Liaising with other departments, such as sales, operations, and warehouse, to ensure smooth operations.
- Resolving customer inquiries and complaints related to deliveries.
- Other tasks:
- May involve coordinating with transportation providers (e.g., couriers, trucking companies).
- May be involved in preparing reports and analyzing dispatch data.

- Monitor and adhere to safety procedures, ensuring that dispatch operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
